I was afraid of that answer.
I've updated the value for that field in a form processing step for a different campaign I had, where I hardcoded the value as a hidden field in the form and then updated the contact record with that.
But in this case, my mistake was expecting that the field was going to be updated by the Campaign and it's not happening. I guess I need to update it using an ad-hoc program before pushing it to the CRM program update as you are mentioning. Sounds like I'm forcing it thought -- I expected Eloqua to handle that... why would I synch the ELQ Campaign with CRM if it's not storing that info or using it back for the program, right?
I'll try to reach out to our Oracle PAS and see if he has any tips on how this should be done.
