Online Marketing Web Content Writer

Key Responsibilities
• Edit translated copy to create compelling, well optimised web pages for visitor conversion
• Translate and localise English copy to create local language web pages and some email campaigns
• Project manage broader localization efforts, such as white papers/reports
• Ensure all copy meets ongoing SEO requirements
• Manage written content directly through an online content management system (WEM)
• Attend corporate and field marketing meetings to understand ongoing requirements
Required Skills
• Highly experienced copy writer, with emphasis on web editing in a business-to-business technology environment
• Knowledge of technology and technical IT terms and ability to communicate them effectively
• Skilled in editing clear, concise and grammatically correct copy, optimised for web search
Personal Attributes
• Experience in B2B technology, email and web marketing
• Enjoys writing clear, concise and grammatically correct marketing copy in French
• Understanding of personas/writing styles that appeal to target markets
• Experience in editing and writing for SEO web copy
• Self-motivated, well organised, enjoys multi-tasking
• Fastidious about accuracy, strong project management skills and attention-to-detail
• Comfortable working as part of both local and virtual global teams
• IT literate with knowledge of content management systems and SEO
• Interested in learning about complex products and solutions
