set your segment in the campaign to add members hourly.. what that does is - it will check for any new members in the segment, every hour, and add them to the campaign.. in your case.. you have 1 segment and 1 canvas sending the thank you email.. day 1 you add a list to the segment activate it by setting the segment to add members hourly.. the first list is added to the canvas then.. the email is sent accordingly.. now day 2, you add another list to the segment, the canvas will check for any new members in a bit and add them to be sent the that you email on day 2 after you load the list from day 2..
