Myself and Paul Wignall fall under category 1. I am the CRM Admin for our company and Paul is the IT Director and we both attended EEE13 this year.
I would honestly recommend this to fellow IT people! We are new Eloqua customers and Eloqua Experience offered us a great insight on how the marketing teams work and how they can really manage the majority of Eloqua. It was great to hear first hand how this has really benefitted marketing and IT departments!
The fact that Eloqua Experience offered live classes was great as well, it gave us a better understanding on how certain aspects would work and how much involvement from IT marketing would need - I was quite disappointed by how much marketing users can actually do with this! Would love to be working in it all day every day!
EEE13 really displayed to us that Eloqua is not like any other product where we're going to have to spend weeks on implementation, testing and adoption.
Another benefit of being there is that you get to speak first hand to other people that have already gone through the start up. We got to hear about the benefits of certain things (Smart Start for example) and you also get an understanding of how much the staff love the product - which was great to see and made us feel confident with the product.
