Hi group: I'm very interested in this topic and have been running into similar issues myself. Upon further investigating this "catch-all" server issue in further detail, I'm not certain this is the root of my data issue. I say that because I have numerous contacts at a particular domain ("@companyname.com", for example) - and some of the contacts have valid email addresses while some do not. This seems to rule out the possibility of the "catch-all" server creating my problems because, I'd assume, these contacts would be on the same server (I checked to ensure these contacts are based out of the same office location to ensure this would be the case).
Aside from the "catch-all" server theory, are there any other potential causes for email addresses to be marked as "invalid" in E10? Similar to Stephanie, we email these contacts through Outlook and our other ESP (we're in the process of migrating fully to Eloqua).
Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
